Modul8 secures exclusive partner status with leading industry manufacturer
Modul8 has secured exclusive partner status in Scotland with one of the industry’s leading manufacturers. The strategic partnership with Optima, the UK’s number one player in the design and manufacture of glass partitioning products, comes after Modul8 installed over 5 kilometres of internal glass offices and doors at the Prime Four Business Park development, Kingswells.
Recently completed projects that have delivered Optima products include Nicol of Skene in Aberdeenshire, Weir Group in Glasgow, HIE’s Rural College in Inverness and Premier Oil and Apache in Aberdeen while recent contract wins involving Optima products total approximately £500,000.
Andy Davie, Director at Modul8, said: “Delivering first class installations is a pre-requisite part of the overall Optima experience that contractors expect and we are delighted that Optima have recognised Modul8’s ability to meet these demanding standards.”
Rob Wood, Divisional Sales and Marketing Director, Optima said: “It is important that purchasing Optima products and services is a similar experience wherever you are. This is why we are pleased to appoint Modul8 who share our vision and values as our exclusive Dealer Partner for Scotland.”
Overall, Modul8 has expanded the team throughout Scotland in 2016 and now offers nationwide coverage. While Oil and Gas remains an important sector, the business continues to diversify into other sectors including Retail, Leisure, Education and the Public Sector.
Modul8 posted revenues of £4.2 million in the year to 30th June 2016 and is targeting almost £1 million in additional revenues in the current year.
Andy Davie said: “The business has experienced a good year, expanding our product portfolio further and increasing geographical coverage across a number of industry sectors. We have invested in training and our people this year and that puts us in a strong position as we look ahead to 2017.”
Modul8 was founded in 2003 in Aberdeen and now employs a team of 23 across its Aberdeen and Livingston offices.
