Modul8's parent company and Commercial property services provider Chess Group plc has acquired a Livingston-based firm to establish a Scotland-wide presence in the storageand interiors market. ESE Scotland Ltd will join up alongside Aberdeen based Modul8, to create a new group company, Chess Storage and Interiors (CSI).

Aberdeen firm Modul8 Ltd- one of Scotland's leading storage and interiors contractors- is celebrating 2007 as a landmark year for business. With an ex-panded team of 37 people, last year's annual turnover was in excess of £5 million.

A major growth area for Modul8 had been in the education sector. Working as a specialist sub-contractor for three main contractors, we have installed suspended ceilings in many of the new schools in the North East. These include: Portlethen Academy,Drummond and Millburn Schools, and Hanover Street Primary. Modul8 are currently tendering for all the new proposed Aberdeen Schools.
