| Modul8 reaches sales landmark |

Interiors and storage specialist Modul8 has just reached a landmark sales figure and is now looking to extend its operational activity beyond the north-east of Scotland. The Aberdeen-based firm, which supplies and installs equipment ranging from partitions and ceilings to shelving and racking systems for commercial properties, has completed £6million in sales just three years after becoming established. The company has grown from a staff of three in August 2003 to now employing nearly 30 personnel and operating a fleet of eight vans from its base at Craigshaw Commercial Park. It has just taken on three new employees. Managing Director Andy Davie said: “We have enjoyed tremendous growth over the past three years and it is testimony to the hard work of everyone involved at Modul8 that we have reached this £6million milestone. I would like to thank the whole team for the effort they have put in to get us where we are. “The business is now well established in the north-east and our objective is to extend our service provision into the Highlands and Tayside. We are tendering for a number of large contracts in those areas and are planning to establish a presence there as part of our growth strategy. “We provide an all-encompassing service from initial consultation and survey through to final installation, and we’re very focused on a high level of customer service, which is absolutely key in our competitive marketplace.
“Having completed projects for a number of key players in the energy industry in our early years we have now expanded into education and health – and we’re actively looking to build on that portfolio in our next phase of development.” |
